Chef Robert’s Message:
I have been involved in the baking industry for thirty-five years from being a student; to being an apprentice; to working in hotels, restaurants, country clubs, catering operations; to owning my own bakery since 1986. I still love every day being involved in my passion.
On my bucket list was to open my own baking institute; where I can share my passion with as many people with the same passion as my own. Well here we go…the ELLINGER BAKING INSTITUTE. Every month we will post a calendar of upcoming classes. My goal is to make learning fun and affordable.
* We will have baking birthday parties, classes for home bakers, classes for singles and couples; enrichment classes for culinary students, savory and pastry chefs to reinforce their skills.
* We will have classes in chocolate, tempering, making chocolate bon-bons, decorations and sculptures for competition.
* We will have competition planning classes on how to work through the process of any type of pastry competition.
